Psalms 149 - The King of kings and Lord of lords.

"Hallelujah! Sing to the LORD a new song, his praise in the assembly of the faithful. Let Israel be glad in its maker, the people of Zion rejoice in their king."  Psalms‬ ‭149:1-2‬

Psalms 149 - The King of kings and Lord of lords.  Do you listen to God?  There is a special grace given to us when we sit and listen, the love that He has for us is poured into us and new wine is always poured into a new wine skin.  Our song is always new, we eagerly go and be with the Father not just on Sunday but every day of our lives.  "So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come."  ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬.

It is Sunday and the day we set aside to praise God in the assembly of Saints.  I wonder about those that do not come, has it become old to them, is life that busy that there is no time, is the wine skin old and can not accept new wine without bursting.  Jesus is coming back, will you be prepared for His return, will your song be new or will you be in need of oil for your lamp.  He seeks us out,  so examine your motivations and sit and listen with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.  He will gently remind you of the Love He has for you and place the Bread of Life within.

What is God saying to me: Sing My praises and receive the gifts of My grace.

Dear Lord, You paint many images in my thoughts this morning reminding me of the kings that seek to distract us from Your love.  You are constant God, always ready to receive us and pour Your love within when we sit and listen.  I thank You for this day and the blessings it will give, there will be a lot to sing about.  Prayers for friends that are too busy to listen and enter the assembly of Saints, may they hear Your voice.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.
