"On that day, The branch of the LORD will be beauty and glory, and the fruit of the land will be honor and splendor for the survivors of Israel. Everyone who remains in Zion, everyone left in Jerusalem Will be called holy: everyone inscribed for life in Jerusalem.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
For over all, his glory will be shelter and protection: shade from the parching heat of day, refuge and cover from storm and rain."
Isaiah 4:2-3, 6
Isaiah 4:2-6 - On that day. Isaiah has vision of a glorious day, one we are all waiting for. Isaiah is a Hebrew but is speaking with power and authority given him from on high. As you envision Isaiah, he is a man filled with the spirit of Jesus, his relationship with our Father is shining through. Listen to him speak, he is living in the shade, within the shelter and protection from the storm and rain. If Isaiah can do this before the Son of Man came to earth, you can do it knowing the story of Jesus. Listen to Isaiah speak. "yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God who has loved me and given himself up for me." Galatians 2:20
What is God saying to me:
Dear Lord God, I envision a man living his faith, going thru life entrusting himself to you and being given Your grace. He is an example of walking by faith, not by sight. His vision has not happened yet he is living within the vision. Thank You Father for this insight and for the desire to trust in our walk each day. Prayers for all the children starting school this week, prayers for their parents to breathe easy and live in the glory of God. Bless this day Father, bless my actions and my words that they accomplish what You desire. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
