www.dailythoughts.com Acts 20:21, 24. 5-15-2018

"I earnestly bore witness for both Jews and Greeks to repentance before God and to faith in our Lord Jesus.

Yet I consider life of no importance to me, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear witness to the gospel of God's grace." ‭‭Acts‬ ‭20:21, 24‬

There is a wisdom in reading the readings for the day that gives meaning to our lives and calling from God.  www.usccb.org.  Jesus was inclusive of everyone, He didn't shone anyone and He didn't force anyone to believe against their will.  The choice was theirs to choose their own course in life.  Yet inside each of us is that desire to know God, to be drawn to Him, this is grace.   As you read the readings today, you will see how Jesus operates under the authority of God the Father, by the tutelage of the Holy Spirit. Paul does the exact same thing.  If more of us would operate under the authority of the Holy Spirit, we would bear witness to the Gospel, Paul did and the Gospel hadn't been written yet.  "And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you always, the spirit of truth" John‬ ‭14:16‬, 17a

Dear Lord God, I know you bore my sins on the cross and it was a heavy price.  I can never repay You but what I can do is live my life for You.  I thank You for considering me worthy of this calling.  I pray for the saints who are in waiting, I pray for their well being and for their efforts.  I pray for the saints no one knows about but you, those living out their lives in servitude for You, providing acts of selfless love.   Bless them Lord with a smile on their face and joy in their hearts for they are the chosen ones.  Amen.

Mary, Sweet Mother of God, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
