He should summon the presbyters of the church, and they should pray over him and anoint [him] with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. The seventh sacrament of the universal Catholic Church, I just love finding hidden gems within God's word. God's word is truth, as you read it, what is the Holy Spirit revealing to you. I am thankful for the heritage and tradition of truth that has been passed along to me by those given the responsibility to teach me as I grew up. I am thankful that I am being led by the same Holy Spirit that inspired James to write this book and this verse. "If He has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.", why would anyone deny this special grace from their faith or their loved ones. Be blessed today and seek His love and guidance in your life.
Dear Heavenly Father, "LORD, I call to you; hasten to me; listen to my plea when I call. Let my prayer be incense before you; my uplifted hands an evening offering." Psalms 141:1-2 I thank You for the same Holy Spirit that guided James guides me, You never mislead us or misguide us if we are being true to Your word. In Jesus, and His Word, I trust, Amen.
