Do we truly realize what we are asking of God when we ask? I have this recurring thought lately of Heaven on earth, we want everything to be perfect, and everything be the way we want it. James and John didn't know what they were asking for, neither do we. "This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalms 118:24. We aren't promised Heaven on earth, we are promised salvation thru the blood of the Lamb. In your trials know that as long as God is at the center you are being purified, give thanks. And God is always at the center for this is what our heart desires, we only have to realize it is God that we seek. "More than that, I even consider everything as a loss because of the supreme good of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have accepted the loss of all things and I consider them so much rubbish, that I may gain Christ" Philippians 3:8
Dear Lord, in my ignorance I ask but You know what is best for me. I willing take what You are giving and am thankful. Ease the pain of those going thru trials Lord, may their strength be You for You endured all of our pain that we may gain You. I am thankful Lord that are time in this part of our journey is but a blip compared to forever, may we rejoice and be glad that You consider us worthy. To You be the glory and the power forever, Amen.
