"Thus the LORD answered me: If you come back and I take you back, in my presence you shall stand; If you utter what is precious and not what is worthless, you shall be my mouth. Then they will be the ones who turn to you, not you who turn to them." Jeremiah 15:19
"If", this morning indicates that I bear the responsibility in my relationship with God. If I utter what is precious and not what is vile. We get what we give, God is precious, the Word of God is the good seed. The vile is the weeds, which separates us from God. Are your words precious, are your actions that of God? God at the center of your life, you are standing in His presence, nothing rocks you, maybe rattles you a bit but God is in the center of all that you do. So, once again there is that word: "If". Ponder "if" today and let God speak to you, He is the rock that saves. And He earnestly seeks you in His presence to be His mouth.
Dear Heavenly Father, Guard my tongue today Lord, guard my actions today Lord. Thank you Lord Jesus for being my rock, for being at the center, and for the tutelage of your Holy Spirit. May my words today he precious, may they be the seed of everlasting hope, May I always trust you. Amen!
