What is it about children and our faith? "Amen, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3. What do children have that as you grow older you tend to question ? Belief, they believe what they are told even that that seems impossible, skepticism enters in as we get older. Now back to the food and scraps, I personally want the food, scraps are just the left overs. "and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me." In the same way also the cup, after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me."" 1 Corinthians 11:24-25. I don't know about you, but I want the food for children, I take Jesus at His word and He refers to it throughout His Word.
Dear Heavenly Father, I believe, I accept You at Your word. Give me more child like faith, open the scripture in newness each time I read it. Thank You for the joy of a memory as I was being fed scraps, enticed into knowing more. I love You and You continue to amaze me each day in ways unexpected. To You be the Glory for ever and ever, Amen.
