"Then the disciples approached Jesus in private and said, "Why could we not drive it out?" "He said to them, "Because of your little faith. Amen, I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:19-20
You ever ask the same question, why? What is the difference between little faith and faith the size of a mustard seed. A mustard seed is extremely small? We all go thru those moments of doubt and despair, not seeing what we asked for. A mustard seed knows it is destined to become a mustard tree, do you know You are the Son or Daughter of The King. Your destiny is eternity, would your Father not give you what is best. And it is ok to say: "Immediately the boy's father cried out and said, "I do believe; help my unbelief."" Mark 9:24. Your Father in Heaven will help your unbelief in ways unexpected.
Dear Heavenly Father, You are Almighty, there is nothing You can't do. We are Your Sons and Daughters living in a world that denies Your existence. Increase our faith to the size of a mustard seed so we know whom we belong to and what our destiny is. Put action behind our faith so others may see You, the Living God in action. I ask this through Your Son Jesus, Amen.
