Job 1:20-21 dailythoughts.com 10-1-2018

"Then Job arose and tore his cloak and cut off his hair. He fell to the ground and worshiped. He said, "Naked I came forth from my mother's womb, and naked shall I go back there. The LORD gave and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD!"" Job‬ ‭1:20-21‬

When life comes at us, where do you turn?  Job lost everything, his livestock, his worldly possessions and his children.  Did he get mad at God, did he ask why me?  No he fell to the ground and started worshipping God.  He knew that God would be there to console him and help him through this time of his life.  Do you turn to God and worship Him during these times?  Job is a great example of how we are to respond.  Learn to grow closer to God and not farther away during the hardships of life.  Learn to thank God in all things.

Dear Heavenly Father, help us see You in the struggle, help us grow closer to You when life gets challenging.  May we learn to praise You when our faith is being strengthened.  Thank You God for considering us worthy to be put to the test, You are worthy and endured the ultimate test so that we may live with You for ever.  Bless this day Lord, I thank You for the teaching that life brings to each of us.  You are by my side, together we will be filled with joy no matter the circumstances for You are greater.   Blessed be the name of God, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us.

Today is a new day!  Begin it in praise and worship.  https://youtu.be/RTT631EXDVA
