"Again he said, "To what shall I compare the kingdom of God? It is like yeast that a woman took and mixed [in] with three measures of wheat flour until the whole batch of dough was leavened." Luke 13:20-21
I have this picture in my home with Jesus sitting on a hillside looking down intently, sitting in peace. I can't help but think that He is thinking, I have given them everything that I have been given, I have shown them how they are to love by my example, I have given them knowledge of right and wrong and I give them hope for eternity if they accept it. He is the yeast that lives within us, what living example do our lives speak of Him? "and no one will announce, 'Look, here it is,' or, 'There it is.' For behold, the kingdom of God is among you." Luke 17:21. Are we imitating His example daily, little eyes are always watching, and there is a lot of dough to be leavened.

Dear Father God, Your living example is always amongst us and encourages each of us to speak of You in our actions. Help me today be the yeast of You in someone's life. Help me evangelize without ever saying a word that You may penetrate their heart and produce leavened dough. Your plan is amazing and the bread is heavenly if only we would slow down and see what You see. Prayers of thanksgiving this morning for You in my life and for answered prayers. May the yeast continue to rise! In Jesus name, Amen.
