"Is your mercy proclaimed in the grave, your faithfulness among those who have perished?" Psalms 88:12
We are each given a finite number of days, what we do with them is important. Once our number is up can we do the work of God anymore? "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy." Matthew 5:7. When we are planted in the ground can our faithfulness be known by a passerby? God gives each of us talents and gifts, mercy is a gift from God do not be like the servant who accepts mercy from his master and does not pass it on. Do not be like the servant who hides his talent not multiplying it. Let His light shine by showing mercy and multiplying His gifts. We are accountable to God and we will answer to Him no matter what we attained on this earth, whether it be a little or a lot. It was the widow woman who gave the most with her last mite.
Dear Lord God, I am sorry for my selfishness and allowing anxiety to get the better of me. Help me live each day as if it were my last, help me be the best version of who You created that I can. Overcome all my struggles and show me the err of my ways so when my time is up, I may be shown mercy and be received into Your open arms. I love You Father and I thank You for this day. Prayers for a good friend, may He be shown mercy when he needs it most. In the name above every other name, my Savior, Jesus. Amen.
