Luke 13:12-13

"When Jesus saw her, he called to her and said, "Woman, you are set free of your infirmity." He laid his hands on her, and she at once stood up straight and glorified God." ‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:12-13‬

Who does Jesus say He is?  He is the Son of God, we do not know Him by His words, we know Him by our actions.  This woman He cured, she did not ask Him to be healed she was being faithful to God coming into His house to worship.  Jesus with eyes of compassion removed her burden and she stood up straight and glorified God.  In our own lives do we see with eyes of compassion?   Do our own actions speak of God.  We are told "So be imitators of God, as beloved children," ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:1‬.  What do our own actions say about who we say Jesus is?

Dear Lord God, each day brings new opportunities to praise and worship You.  You know the burdens that each of us carries and it is You that gives us the strength to stand up straight and glorify You with our lives.  I thank You Father for eyes of faith, I thank You for eyes of compassion, I thank You for the strength and wisdom You give each of us to be imitators of Your Son Jesus.  May I glorify You today and when I am weak, You be strong in me.  I ask this in Jesus's name, Amen.

Mary, Spouse of the Holy Ghost, pray for us.
