Genesis 13:14-15 6-25-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"After Lot had parted from him, the LORD said to Abram: Look about you, and from where you are, gaze to the north and south, east and west; all the land that you see I will give to you and your descendants forever." Genesis‬ ‭13:14-15‬

Walking with God each day is a journey, Abram was being obedient to God and also discerning the voice of God in His life.  Does God speak to us?  It clearly gives proof in the Bible that He does.  Before Abram became Abraham, he had to be prepared for what laid ahead.  Abram humbled himself before God and accepted his fate upon the decision of someone else.  How many of us want to take control and choose right or left, are we willing to receive whatever the outcome is?  Do we see this outcome as God working in our lives if we are being humble and obedient to what He asks of us?

What is God saying to me: There is a purpose.

Dear Father, I am learning slowly and you know the challenge I am.  I am thankful this morning Father for the many people that go out of their way to reach others.  To not think of self but think of the well being of others.  Abram did this with Lot, he allowed Lot to choose.  Help me be as Abram was, willing to accept the outcome without having a choice.  Bless this day Father, Bless this morning and may we all accept whatever You provide for us, for it is all in Your hands anyway.  In the name of Jesus, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
