John 21:22 6-8-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"Jesus said to him, "What if I want him to remain until I come? What concern is it of yours? You follow me."" ‭‭John‬ ‭21:22‬

Isn't that human nature to be concerned with the actions of others, to pass judgement based upon our viewpoint.  Jesus sees the whole picture and we don't.  We want to judge but Jesus corrects by asking a question, "what concern is it of yours?"  Can you sit back and just observe without passing judgement?  God sees all, even our own flaws.  Try observing from God's perspective, He loves His creation and does not condemn.   The challenge we have is to overcome our humanity, lay down our lives and follow Him.  Until Jesus comes into our lives, we do not see what we are doing because the scales are still on our lives.  Let Jesus come and get out of the way.

What is God saying to me? Remain in peace as I work.

Dear Lord God, we are called to worship You with our lives, at times, I get in the way.  Forgive me for my trespass's as I forgive those who trespassed against me.  Thank You for the guidance and the understanding to think before responding, to allow time and insight form my decision.  Thank You for a great day enjoying family and living in the moment being at peace.  Prayers for those who are ate up with the actions of others, may they see from Your vantage point.  Thank You Father for another day.  Amen.

Mary, Seat of Wisdom, pray for us.

Day 9 of the Novena to the Holy Ghost

Peace be with you!

Tomorrow is Pentecost - the birthday of the Church! To celebrate Pentecost and to finish the novena, we will pray our last prayer together tomorrow!

Today, let's pray for Goodness - that we can be good and holy as the saints!

And with the novena coming to a close, if you have had any prayers answered, please share those with us all HERE.

Here are the prayers for today:

Your prayer intentions

Goodness

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.

Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus' name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar's heart for Goodness within us.

We want to be like your Saints in heaven. Holy Spirit, renew us by your power with your Goodness that we may bring the Good News to the world.

Amen.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.

O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,

Amen.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
