Jesus sees the storm clouds brewing and is in peace, He isn't caught up in the troubles of the day for He knows what is important. He doesn't say He will conquer but He has conquered the world. Are you one with the Triune God? In your troubles are you still in consolation knowing that God will never forsake You. This is the strength that Jesus leaned on, He is all God and He is all man. In His humanity, He conquered the World through His Father. We too will have to conquer the world and it begins with prayer. It begins in the stillness of the day and calling to God for guidance. Live in peace, examine your actions and see how you are walking with Christ or stirring the pot. "So be imitators of God, as beloved children, and live in love, as Christ loved us and handed himself over for us as a sacrificial offering to God for a fragrant aroma." Ephesians 5:1-2
What is God saying to me: Your walk isn't always pure, You see the missteps that you make. Listen to my instruction more intently and strive not to sin, you are My beloved son.
Dear Lord God, there is trouble in the world yet there is peace where I am at, help me maintain that peace throughout the day. I would much rather stay here but that is not what You are asking of me today. May I be vulnerable today in my actions and lean on You for strength. Prayers for those caught up in the world, may we all see how it works at trying to destroy us. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Mary, Tower of David, pray for us.
We hope this novena to the Holy Spirit is going well for you so far!
Today, let's continue to place our most confident trust in our God who is good and wants what is best for us.
Let's pray for patience as we await God's answers to our prayers and as we await the joy of heaven.
Patience
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Let us bow down in humility at the power and grandeur of the Holy Spirit. Let us worship the Holy Trinity and give glory today to the Paraclete, our Advocate.
Oh Holy Spirit, by Your power, Christ was raised from the dead to save us all. By Your grace, miracles are performed in Jesus' name. By Your love, we are protected from evil. And so, we ask with humility and a beggar's heart for Your gift of Patience within us.
Oh Holy Spirit, you give lavishly to those who ask. Please give us the patience of the Saints who are now with you in heaven. Help us to endure everything with an eternal patience that is only possible with your help.
Amen.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by the same Holy Spirit we may be truly wise and ever enjoy His consolations, through Christ Our Lord,
Amen.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
