Leviticus Chapter 25 11-3-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"even after having sold themselves, they still may be redeemed by one of their kindred,

For the Israelites belong to me as servants; they are my servants, whom I brought out of the land of Egypt, I, the LORD, your God." ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:48, 55‬

We are only passing through this time and place, we really are not meant to stay here.  "The land shall not be sold irrevocably; for the land is mine, and you are but resident aliens and under my authority." ‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭25:23‬. We choose to operate under the authority of God or under our own.  We all learn the lesson of under our own authority for at some point our resources run out and we have indebted ourselves to the lord of this world.  It is Jesus, your brother, who has come to redeem you, He is the only one capable of redeeming each of us.  Once you have allowed yourself to be redeemed, you are where you belong - a servant of God.

What is God saying to me: You have been redeemed by My blood, make good use of the time I am giving you, it will not last forever.  The price is to be exacted in your life, freedom isn't free.

Dear Lord Jesus, You redeemed each of us on the cross, we were chosen to follow You into eternity, It is up to each of us to follow.  I thank You for this morning, the slow awaking to the day and the sweet sounds of love that fills my ears.  You are so good to me Father, may I remain with You this day, may I be a faithful servant with gratitude for the graces and rewards You have given.  Bless this day and bless Your servants with peace and joy.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
