Numbers Chapter 17, 11-22-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"The LORD said to Moses: Tell Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, to remove the censers from the embers; and scatter the fire some distance away, for they have become holy— the censers of those who sinned at the cost of their lives. Have them hammered into plates to cover the altar, because in being presented before the LORD they have become holy. In this way they shall serve as a sign to the Israelites." ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭17:1-3‬

Reading scripture each day in a deliberate way reveals the awesome power of God, come Holy Spirit.  We all face trials, tribulations, temptations, joys, success, these all play a role in purifying us.  The trials and tribulations are not easy, they make us ponder our path/course in life.  Do we bring them to God, are we willing to bring them to Him, are we willing to stand before Him.  We do not get into Heaven until we have been purified.  Count all things as blessings, understanding that we each need a healthy fear of God, for in a blink of an eye it can all change.  Maybe you are angry with God, God is just trying to get your attention, it worked didn't it.  Now knowing He is mighty God, realize you are being made holy in all situations.  In our searching, happiness/joy is only found with a healthy respect of God.  All the other things are fleeting but not God, He will stand with you, He LOVES YOU!

What is God saying to me: You are ready, I am always present.

Dear Father, there is joy in my heart this morning, I just want to sing Hallelujah with my life.  The situations can be a challenge, but it forces us to stay in check with You, if we have a healthy fear.  You are Mighty God, You are powerful God, You are loving God.  Bless this day Lord, Bless all those who are seeking to find You.  Father, You are doing mighty works in our midst, a little each day, keep hammering away, I want to be in Your presence.  Thank You for all that are you doing even the purifying bits, may we not fall victim to the temptations, You are greater!  In the name above all names, Jesus Christ, Hallelujah and amen.

Mary, Queen of Saints, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
