Numbers Chapter 21, 11-26-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"So the LORD sent among the people seraph serpents, which bit the people so that many of the Israelites died. Then the people came to Moses and said, "We have sinned in complaining against the LORD and you. Pray to the LORD to take the serpents from us." So Moses prayed for the people, and the LORD said to Moses: Make a seraph and mount it on a pole, and everyone who has been bitten will look at it and recover." Numbers‬ ‭21:6-8‬

Israel begins to mature, they begin to see a cause and effect of their ways and seek repentance.   You can see God at work in the nation of Israel as they journey, God allows them to mature.  I believe we each travel much like Israel in our lives, I also believe there is a turning point when you realize that there is a power greater than you at work.  It is when we repent, ask forgiveness and witness the power of God at work do we join the army of Israel.  Each day coming to the foot of the cross, looking up and knowing He is greater than all your problems, this is true power.  When that day comes for you, you have been blessed by grace, you have begun to mature and there is rejoicing in Heaven.

What is God saying to me: the fight is Mine, you are to surrender but only when you are ready.  I do not force My will upon anyone nor should you.

Dear Lord, I love our walks in the morning, I love Your gentle nature as You unravel the picture.  WOW can be an emotion when we are in tune.  Father You know my thoughts and my ways and You are journeying with me allowing me to stumble and fall, allowing me to get back up and go again.  You are teaching me the depth of Your nature in Your word and letting it play out in front of me each day, it is a great journey and I am so thankful.  I pray for a friend blindly moving, may he find where true happiness comes from until then each road will be a dead end and pointing right back to You.  Lead the way Lord, You have this day and You are fighting my battles, not me.  Thank You Jesus! Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.
