Numbers Chapter 4, 11-9-2019 www.dailythoughts.com

"This is the task of the Kohathites in the tent of meeting: the most sacred objects. In breaking camp, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the screening curtain and cover the ark of the covenant with it. Over these they shall put a cover of yellow-orange skin, and on top of this spread an all-violet cloth and put the poles in place." ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭4:4-6‬

What is sacred to you, stop and think about those things, objects, actions that are truly sacred to you.  The Levite's had God's work to do and had to follow strict orders or they would die if they didn't.  The Ark of the Covenant was the most sacred object, it carried the presence of God, it contained the word of truth.  It was central to all the Israelites did.  Back to what is sacred to you, is going to church sacred?  Is daily prayer sacred?  Is following God's Commandments sacred?  The devil works at ways to remove what was once sacred even using things that appear good.  The apple was pleasing to the eye to Eve, she ate it and the rest is history.  Exam your life and see what you consider sacred today.  Ask God to help and He will reveal Truth to you.

What is God saying to me: I Am central in your life and when you follow my guidance, I paint a vivid picture that is seen.  My Ark is the most sacred object not to be blasphemed.

Dear Father, Your image is painted in my thoughts, it is central to what I consider sacred and is what pushes me forward.  Reveal your truth this coming week so I may convey the message that You are giving.   Thank You for a successful evening Father, for a fun event that will bear plenty of fruit.  Bless this day, bless all those on the journey to what is truly sacred, You. Amen.

Mary, Ark of the Covenant, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
