"But when the kindness and generous love of God our savior appeared, not because of any righteous deeds we had done but because of his mercy, he saved us through the bath of rebirth and renewal by the holy Spirit, whom he richly poured out on us through Jesus Christ our savior, so that we might be justified by his grace and become heirs in hope of eternal life." Titus 3:4-7
Our acts of faith. I enjoy the Church being full this time of year, all those coming to celebrate the birth of Christ. I often wonder why is it not like that the rest of the year, why do they not continue to come? But even still they come with anticipation during Christmas and Easter. If they only knew the real presence of God, if they could continue these small acts of faith by just showing up. I understand how busy life is and having other priorities but if we are to be renewed by the Holy Spirit, we have to show up. When you realize that Christ is missing in your life, and the hope that we each receive during Christmas is greater than anything else, they will show up until then the world still has a stronger hold. A simple act of faith - show up weekly.

What is God saying to me:
Dear Father, i thank You for this day, I thank You for the desire to know You more and for drawing me closer. Watch over us Lord, keep us safe and encourage more simple acts of faith throughout the year. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
