Luke Chapter 15, Advent Day 15

"The tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to listen to him, but the Pharisees and scribes began to complain, saying, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them." ‭‭Luke‬ ‭15:1-2‬

Advent Day 15 - The longing of our heart.  Are we not all attracted to truth, Jesus is the truth and He challenges us to be better people.  We are all given one life, we are on a pilgrimage and our hearts are not satisfied until they find God.  We search high and low for happiness but it isn't found until we are reunited with our Creator.  God prepares the way by allowing us to be seasoned and then we are open to hearing and seeing the Truth.    It isn't until we recognize our own faults that we begin to see otherwise even though Christ is present we are blind to the reality of who He is.  Open Your eyes, He truly is present and He invites you to dine with Him.

What is God saying to me:  I Am always there with you, even when you misstep, you recognize it and begin again.  Do not forget that I Am with you, you are My son, just as Jesus was.  We will figure it out so do not fret the small stuff and keep speaking the truth, I do not need defended only witnessed too.

Dear Father, I am drawn to You and want more of You within me.  You see my faults and You still speak to me, in this way You are loving me even when I sin.  Yet Your words challenge me to be better, to recognize the Truth and to live it each day that You give.  Prayers for a friend who is lonely and is searching, may his heart be stirred and challenged to the truth when he sits in front of You.  I pray he finds a spouse that makes him happy and if it be Your will children to teach how great You are.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Saints, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
