Psalms 18 - Life, death and resurrection

"He made darkness his cloak around him; his canopy, water-darkened stormclouds.

He reached down from on high and seized me; drew me out of the deep waters." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭18:12, 17‬

Psalms 18 - Life, death and resurrection.  God made darkness His cloak, now that is an interesting verse but also true.  In our cries for help, these typically happen in times of distress when it seems like God is not there.  Jesus cried out in the garden and was still arrested.  God uses those periods of our lives to draw us closer, to lay a firm foundation.  We can stay in the darkness and constantly feel lost or we can trust in God, Jesus did on the Villa De LaRosa.  There is victory in Christ when we trust in Him even in the darkness.  Read Psalm 18, there is life, a type of death we all experience and victory or resurrection.  Trust in the Lord, without Him you are nothing, with Him you are everything.

What is God saying to me:  There is life after the pain, there is purpose for everything, in Me, there is joy and hope and everlasting life even while you are still on earth.

Dear Lord, You have rescued me from the enemy, You have pulled me out of the deep and life is filled with victory.  You do work in mysterious ways for I would not of dreamt of this.  I thank You for answered prayers with Lily Kate, she will soon be coming home.  I thank You for this life of peace, even in the chaos.  Watch over us these week, send Your angels to guard us and give us victory in our daily battles for You will not be defeated.  Prayers for friends that are getting operations this week, all is well.  Prayers for someone who is cloaked in darkness, all is well.  You are Mighty God and I am Yours, Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, Pray for us.
