Psalms 23 - bringing God along

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff comfort me."  Psalms‬ ‭23:4‬

Psalms 23 - bringing God along.  Do you find comfort in God and the Ten Commandments?  Jesus didn't avoid sin, He took on our sin but He didn't sin.  I have spent this week in Las Vegas for work with all its trappings.  It was a walk through the shadow of death yet I was not alone for each day God was with me, His staff, Jesus, was leading the way.  His rod, the Ten Commandments, was adverting my eyes, my thoughts and my actions from stepping the wrong way.  In our quiet time with God He will shine light into the areas of our lives that are taking us into the danger zone.  Daily prayer time with God is so important, visiting, listening and obeying, bring God along in all things.

What is God saying to me:

Dear Father, I pray that others see the importance of a daily walk with You.  It is such a joy to listen and be attentive to Your whisperings.  We do walk through the valley of the shadow of death, it does cinch us but You are always there when we spend time together leading the way.  I pray for hearts to change, for souls to be strengthened and for others to not run when Your name is mentioned.  They may try to avoid You but the hounds of Heaven will not stop pursuing until the end of time.  Bless this day Father, give us safe travels and a pure heart.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, Pray for us.
St Joesph, pray for us.
