Psalms 33 - a walk of faith

"A king is not saved by a great army, nor a warrior delivered by great strength.

Our soul waits for the LORD, he is our help and shield." ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭33:16, 20‬

Psalms 33 - a walk of faith.  God creates all that we see, He spoke and it came to be.  He looks down from Heaven and watches His creation, with the flaws, weaknesses and strengths.  Will we obey Him?  Our human desire does not always align with God's because of sin.  Will we be obedient and trust in God.  Will we sit still and be refreshed by the Creator of the Universe.  There is no fighting nor strength that can conquer what we are in the midst of, the only think is to sit, listen for the Triune God and walk by faith.  Jesus walked this walk, He is the King and he humbled himself.  His shield is His Father and it was a Glorious day when He rose from the dead.  Do not be afraid, put your shield on.

What is God saying to me: Listen and receive.

Dear Father, there is a strength that comes from sitting with You each day.  I learn when I listen to Your direction, now I have to go apply what You have given.  I am not fearful of what is going on just concerned.  It is by Your grace that we are saved and in this we will be better for it if we trust in You.  You are my shield, I thank You for instilling this quiet strength and comfort.  Help me fight the good fight, help me persevere when I am weak, I am trusting in You.  Prayers for the leadership of this country that is locked in a battle with the evil one, overcome their human weaknesses and give them strength to do right by You.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Pope Francis invited all Christians of the globe to unite on March 25 at noon to pray the Our Father together — so that as the entire world is suffering from the pandemic, so the Lord might hear all of Christendom united in prayer.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
