Psalms 39 - Vain Glory

"Man goes about as a mere phantom; they hurry about, although in vain; he heaps up stores without knowing for whom.

You chastise man with rebukes for sin; like a moth you consume his treasures. Every man is but a breath. Selah

Turn your gaze from me, that I may smile before I depart to be no more."  Psalms‬ ‭39:7, 12, 14‬

Psalms 39 - Vain Glory.  When God looks at the world that He created what does He see.  Does He see a people that honors their Creator?  Does He see a people thankful for what they have?  Does He see a people who has, give to those who have not.  Pretty easy to see the answer.  "You who have forsaken Me," declares the LORD, "You keep going backward. So I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am tired of relenting!"  ‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭15:6‬.  In the Our Father there is a verse that says lead us not into temptation.  This is where we are at, God is saying you do not want to choose Me, ok, you go about your way then and I like a moth will consume your treasure.  Is it not time we turn back to God, sing praises to Him and thank Him for the life that we have.  Why must we wait until God has had enough, the whole world is suffering, we are all part of the Body of Christ.

What is God saying to me: Turn back to Me, I Am the keeper of your soul.  Like a Good Father, I will discipline My children to correct them.

Dear Father, we are but a breath may our lives be a pleasing offering to You.  May we glorify You, not out of obligation but out of Love like a son to his Father.  I pray for those suffering, living in fear, may they see You, a loving God with arms outstretched.  Father, watch over us this day, protect us from the evil that goes about, muzzle our tongue when it leads to conflict.  May we build up and not tear down each other, may we all work together and keep You at the center of our lives.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Health of the Sick, pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
