Week 5 - The Journey Day 1

Week 5 - The Journey Day 1

"On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you."  John‬ ‭16:23‬

On that day, this is where God and I are conversing on.  Is Jesus referring to a specific day?  This verse comes before: "So you also are now in anguish. But I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you."  John‬ ‭16:22‬  This is a conversation that Jesus is having with His Disciples and us, have we gotten to the point in our relationship that He is our God and that we trust Him.

Now on that day, we can ask in His name for He is God and a friend, one that you know intimately.  Love is the emotion that controls your thoughts and actions, His thoughts become Your thoughts.  That is a specific day and one that we each will experience with faithful prayer and consistency.   Our Father hears our prayers and will answer each one of them but not necessarily on our time line.

What is God saying to me?  On that day, My Will has become your will, we have become one with purpose.  My Son Jesus and I were one, He did not question the direction where we were going for He knew Me.

Dear Father, I am almost at a loss of words as we visit, seeking to know You isn't easy at times.  I am thankful for these chances to really seek and learn to understand how we are to communicate together and work together.  I thank You for the opportunities to trust in Your Divine will, for each day offers lots of challenges.  Prayers for a friend celebrating 20 years of marriage today and experiencing the great adventure that You offer, bless him Father with grace and a future that brings abundant life.  Thank You for this day and the grace to do Your will, I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
