"So then you are no longer strangers and sojourners, but you are fellow citizens with the holy ones and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the capstone. Through him the whole structure is held together and grows into a temple sacred in the Lord; in him you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit." Ephesians 2:19-22
These verses stand by themselves and captures everyone. It is God's love being poured out into the heart of man that draws us in to an unbelievable mystery, the heart of God. We are either strangers/sojourners or pilgrims on that journey. I once was that stranger who knew about God but did not know Him. It is a mystery, an amazing journey that opens us up to the possibilities of God. My prayer is that you recognize the journey you are on, I have faith in the Holy Spirit that He is drawing you in and my heart rejoices in knowing that Jesus is at work. Little eyes are watching and they are the future, do not deny them the joy of Christ.
What is God saying to me: I lead the way, you listen and never doubt even when fear tries to creep in, I am with You.
Dear Father, what an amazing journey. Many have gone before us who are in Your presence. I thank You today for this journey we are on, I am not alone and am surrounded by many friends. Lord, increase our joy and thankfulness for being given the mystery of Life. I will praise You today in what ever is placed upon my path. In the quiet of our hearts speak to us and in our tears help us see Your hand at work. May we be joyous today and grateful for the gifts that you give. I ask this in the name of Jesus, Amen.
