Week 33 - The Journey Advent Epiphany of the Good News

Week 33 - The Journey Advent Epiphany of the Good News.

"Arise! Shine, for your light has come, the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you. Though darkness covers the earth, and thick clouds, the peoples, Upon you the Lord will dawn, and over you his glory will be seen."  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:1-2‬

Responding to God's call.  It is a choice we each must make and upon making the choice to respond the glory of the Lord will dawn in your heart.  The Magi responded, the Shepherds responded, Joesph responded, Mary responded and for that their lives were transformed.

This is available to each of us and all we have to do is respond to God's voice, walk in faith and go.  What drew the Magi to Bethlehem?  What made them go?  God's voice drew them and their own free will allowed them to go.

As you enter the manger scene and look upon the Holy family, see what they seen, the glory of the Lord.  Be transformed by God's word and live the life of Hope, of victory over sin.  As the Magi left and did not respond to the evil of the world, they had become transformed.  "Then you shall see and be radiant, your heart shall throb and overflow. For the riches of the sea shall be poured out before you, the wealth of nations shall come to you."  ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭60:5‬

Happy New Year, He is calling and it is your own choice to respond.

What is God saying to me?  You responded even though it meant a little hardship, this did not go unnoticed.  Only those who respond will understand.

Dear Father, it is cold outside but my heart is full, over flowing with gratitude.  I thank You Lord for walking with me this morning, for revealing Your word in the recesses of my imagination.  Bless this day Father, thank You for giving us Your Holy Family who operate in union.  Awaken us to the reality of our choices and draw us closer to Your everlasting Love.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, Pray for us.
