Week 33- The Journey Advent Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God.

Week 33 - The Journey Advent Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

"The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!"  ‭‭Numbers‬ ‭6:24-26‬

Happy New Year, we are blessed to have Mary as our Mother.   We have been pondering Mary, the Mother of God, her interior life must of been amazing, how else do you explain how she was ready to become the Mother of God, God the Jesus.  In this union with God, all things are blessings and those that aren't are His mercy and love as He instructs.

We, her children, must imitate her example if we are to get into Heaven.  An unruly child becomes a disruption to the peace and quiet, the same holds true of Heaven.  The last unruly one was banished from Heaven to the depths of the earth.  It is in those quiet moments when we are able to see our own lives and the lives of the Saints, we see and experience the blessings.

This coming year what is your intention?  What will you do to draw closer to the Living God?  In what ways will you worship God and His guidance provided for us in the Word?  In the silence of our hearts He speaks, be blessed this coming year, be thankful for all from this past year and be thankful for what comes your way this year.  In all of life's treasures some of the best gifts come from suffering.  Mary suffered as Jesus suffered and she accepted this willingly knowing that a just reward awaited her and those who love God, her Father.

What is God saying to me?  Listen and Pray, your prayers are heard and will be answered.

Dear Father, the blessings are abundant and obvious, the best of which is what You are doing on the inside.  Thank You Lord for the journey and the gifts of Your love that are being expressed in many different ways.  I thank You for a keen ear, for the blessings of our Holy Mother, she is raising up an army of faithful.  Prayers for those suffering the schemes of the devil as they seek their joy and happiness wondering far from Your love.  Call us home Lord, give us faithful and determined wills to accomplish that which is being asked of us.  Prayers for what tomorrow holds and the joy that will fill our hearts when we listen and respond.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Mother of God, pray for us.

Happy New Year, listen with intent.
