Daily Thoughts - The Beginning
"Now since the children share in blood and flesh, he likewise shared in them, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil, and free those who through fear of death had been subject to slavery all their life." Hebrews 2:14-15
He, God the Son, became one of us. He walked where we walk, He experienced what we experience, His humanity is just like ours. Yet He shows us, as true man, how to conquer sin, the sin that we are surrounded by. Sin that we are so immersed by, we fail to recognize it, not so with Christ.
Christ, as man, can walk with you each day, revealing a world not seen by most. As the Son of Man, He walked these valley of tears, yet it was His focus and His purpose that kept Him out of the fray. Could Jesus have sinned? I have to say yes but He chose, as man, not to. We have the same choice each day many times over.
"Because he himself was tested through what he suffered, he is able to help those who are being tested." Hebrews 2:18 Take Christ into your day by Beginning in prayer, ask Him to reveal to you His humanity and study His life by following Him. It is that simple, have a blessed day in and with Christ.
Dear Father, I am seeing Your divinity as Son of Man thru Your humanity. I am seeing a world clouded by sin, missing the reality of true joy. I am loving my life though difficult at times, it is producing Your desired results, at least that is my hope. Prayers for eyes to be opened and hearts to be awakened to the reality of sin. I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
