Daily Thoughts - The Beginning.
"In the days when he was in the flesh, he offered prayers and supplications with loud cries and tears to the one who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence. Son though he was, he learned obedience from what he suffered; and when he was made perfect, he became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey him,". Hebrews 5:7-9
I look to Jesus this morning, the Great High Priest and we sit. He walked where I walked, He dealt with what I deal with but much much more. We can learn from Him if we are willing to sit and listen. If we will humble ourselves and put ourselves in a place of reverence and respect for God in our lives.
"Physician, cure yourself", quoted in Luke 4:23, comes to mind. The Great Miracle Worker walks amongst us and we too proud to seek His help. A wise man learns from others who have gone before him, if he wants what they have. Jesus, as Son of Man, has conquered death, He has overcome this world. It stands to reason, He and He alone can teach us.
Have you suffered enough to learn to listen to God?
Dear Father God, I am blessed this morning to see You at work with a sinner. One that is seeking You as best as he can. I thank You for the love that You are showing and the glory awaits those who are being called. I thank You for trusting You in all situations, even when they seem distant and far off, You are God and I am not. Bless this day and all it has to offer, Amen.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
