Daily Thoughts - Happy New Year.
"As for you, the anointing that you received from him remains in you, so that you do not need anyone to teach you. But his anointing teaches you about everything and is true and not false; just as it taught you, remain in him." 1 John 2:27
A new year a new beginning. The word cooperation comes to mind as I journey with Christ this morning. We think we need another to show us the way when in fact it is God-Jesus that shows us the Way.
It is cooperation with God that brings about all righteousness. It can not happen for us if we are not fully vested in our relationship with Him. Half hearted efforts is a good beginning but will not last unless we persevere to the point of commitment. This is done in cooperation with the Holy Spirit. "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will act". Psalms 37:5
So in this new year, begin again, ask for help and have faith. Life is a great teacher especially when God is the teacher. Pay heed to what He is saying, you are another day closer.
Dear Father, I see Your commitment to us, Your willingness to humble Yourself and sacrifice for us. Thank You Father for the insights into commitment, we can over complicate it with our ways when in fact You are just telling us to relax and give to You what You give to us: time. Bless this coming year Lord God, with peace and understanding. My ways are committed to You, a little each day, Amen.
