Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

1284 In case of necessity, any person can baptize provided that he have the intention of doing that which the Church does and provided that he pours water on the candidate's head while saying: "I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

Purgation.  "Do you not know that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?"  1 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬.  I witness this morning as Jesus enters the temple and begins to remove those that would desecrate God's house.  He makes a whip and drives them out.  Does not the same happen within us when we listen to God and allow Him to operate within our lives.

It is His mission to purify the temple, to cleanse it from the inside, not from the outside.  These periods can be difficult as we learn to deal with that which causes the desecration.  This is called purgation and if it feels uncomfortable, remember it is suppose too.   The challenge we face is that each of us goes through it at different times and this in itself creates its own discomfort.

Jesus never wavered from His mission on His way to Calvary, His response is always one with Love even if it is uncomfortable.

Dear Lord God, You are within the temple, doing what is being asked of You.  May we listen attentively and respond to Your voice as You rebuild what You created in the beginning, a body and soul without sin.  Bless this day, may we recognize the beauty around us and not take things for granted, life can change on a dime.  Watch over us and keep us safe in a world that seeks to destroy and divide.  Love Your son.

Mary, Mother of Love, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.
St Patrick, Pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
