"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God." Matthew 5:9. Does peace follow you around? I know as I begin my day there will be several things that will come at me and try and disrupt my peace. My peace comes from Christ, knowing that He is with me. It takes effort to remain in peace so slow down and recognize God does not give you anything He knows you can't deal with. Your strength comes from God and He wants you to share His peace. What are you listening to during the day? Is it peace or is it the noise of the world? Be a peacemaker and get what you give.
Dear Lord Jesus, You showed us the way to deal with things in a calm manner. Your words Lord are Spirit and life, may this be what I bring to the day. Be by my side as I go about, be in my words and my thoughts, be in my responses. "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid." John 14:27. May Your word Lord strengthen my inner self as I journey thru life. I ask this in Your most holy name, Amen.
