Daily Thoughts 7-22-2017 John 20:17

"Jesus said to her, "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'" ‭‭John‬ ‭20:17‬

The grief we experience when I loved one is lost can paralyze us.  Mary Magdala loved Jesus yet her grief temporarily blinded her from seeing Him until he spoke.  She was spurred into action when Jesus said "GO".   "Stop holding on to me", to experience the love of Christ we must listen for His voice and let go of the grief.  Life is meant to be lived and as Jesus said "GO".  Jesus wasn't in the tomb, He had risen and Mary Magdala was able to proclaim, I have seen the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father, Your Spirit reaches the lost and the blind, open our ears to hear You speak to us.  May we see You and follow Your direction for our lives.  Thank You for another day to proclaim I have seen the Lord, may I use this time to Go and do the will of my Father.  I ask this through Your most precious name and through Your most precious blood, amen.

Mary, Our Lady of Sorrows, pray for us.
