Daily Thoughts 7-19-2017 Exodus 3:11

"But Moses said to God, "Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?" ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭3:11‬

God asked Moses from a burning bush to lead His people and Moses responds much like we respond today.  "You want me to do what, not me."  God speaks thru others and ask us to help, asks us to step up, get involved.    Who me, surely not I.  Moses did respond and look what happened, he faithfully followed God.  One of the kids on Monday night said, you don't grow unless your are uncomfortable.  God wasn't making Moses comfortable, he was making him uncomfortable and look what he did!  Let God make you uncomfortable and do something that gives glory and honor to God.  Something to think about all these youth groups sure could use some good people to get involved, is it you?

Dear Lord God, I pray for those in leadership roles, protect them Lord God and keep them grounded in Your loving embrace.  Watch over our youth and give them Godly examples of Christian living.  May the heat not impact our judgement today, and give us time to listen to You in the quiet of our hearts.  Thank You Lord God for loving me and for the day ahead.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Protection, pray for us.
