Christmas 2019 - The gift of Wusdom

"Sincerely I learned about her, and ungrudgingly do I share— her riches I do not hide away; For she is an unfailing treasure; those who gain this treasure win the friendship of God, being commended by the gifts that come from her discipline." ‭‭Wisdom‬ ‭7:13-14‬

Christmas 2019 - The gift of wisdom.  Sincerely I learned about her, just as our bodies need nutrition so does our minds.  The brain needs nourishment and it will be fed either deliberately by us with good food - Gods word or junk food - what ever we set our eyes upon, the world.  When we set aside time for God each day and focus on a couple of scripture versus and just chew on them over and over again, the Holy Spirit will provide the insight.  This takes time and practice to develop the skill, many a morning I contemplate His Word and nothing comes then all of a sudden a picture is painted, a word appears, an insight is provided.   The greatest Teacher is the Triune God as I reflect back upon His studies, the daily challenges do not get in the way, I seem to be at peace with all that comes.  There is a peace that comes with time when we discern God's Word.  Happy New Year, 2020 has a lot of insight to provide if we discipline ourselves to sit still each day and contemplate the Word of God.

What is God saying to me:

Dear Lord, You know how to get our attention and have us sit still to gain wisdom.  The biggest muscle You gave us is our brain and You seek us to use it for good, to discern Your will and to assist us in becoming holy.  Help us see how our actions are helping this process or hurting this process.  Sometimes we just need to slow down and just be to be able to hear Your voice.  Prayers for a friend going a hundred miles an hour, may he slow down and just be, may he rest in Your word before life gets in the way.  Thank You Lord for being by my side and making me think.  In Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, Queen of Heaven, pray for us.
