Deuteronomy 12 - Honor God and Him alone

"When the LORD, your God, cuts down from before you the nations you are going in to dispossess, and you have dispossessed them and are settled in their land, be careful that you not be trapped into following them after they have been destroyed before you. Do not inquire regarding their gods, "How did these nations serve their gods, so I might do the same."" Deuteronomy‬ ‭12:29-30

Deuteronomy 12 - Honor God and Him alone.  We are each called differently by our Heavenly Father, whether it be tapped on the shoulder, a gentle brush as Jesus passes by or a profound moment.  Our paths are unique to each, He tells us by His example to go into the fields to retrieve the lost but not to go into the fields and become the lost.  This world seeks to get a hold of you but with your feet firmly planted upon the Rock, hearing our Father, you will not stray.  Be the contradiction to what the world speaks, be the joy in your community.  It gives life giving blood and will return what you put in only multiplied by our Heavenly Father.

What is God saying to me: I stir your heart for a purpose that is yet to be revealed.  It is in these quiet moments that through your memory I reveal my message. Sit still and relax, today will be a great day.

Dear Father, I love being in Your presence and watching You transform lives by giving hope, giving vision, healing the sick and drawing us to You.  I am Your son who willingly follows, encourage those we encounter, may I be Your voice, Your eyes, Your hands, Your humble servant.  Bless those today who are serving and honoring You, May they not be impacted by those who have yet to encounter You or by those who are not in communion with You.  Keep us safe and may we each do as we are called by You.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.
