Deuteronomy 7 - Reminder

"do not be afraid of them. Rather, remember clearly what the LORD, your God, did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt: the great testings which your own eyes have seen, the signs and wonders, the strong hand and outstretched arm with which the LORD, your God, brought you out. The same also will he do to all the peoples of whom you are now afraid.

Therefore, do not be terrified by them, for the LORD, your God, who is in your midst, is a great and awesome God. He will remove these nations before you little by little. You cannot finish with them quickly, lest the wild beasts become too numerous for you." ‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭7:18-19, 21-22‬

Deuteronomy 7 - Reminder.  Moses builds an army of mighty warriors by helping them see the victory is God's not theirs, it is their actions that is needed.  These people were the next generation, they didn't see these events but their eyes, their ancestors did,  and now they would receive the glory of the promised land.  The battle is won in the mind once you have firmly planted God in your mind and heart, life is a joy even if you are dying.  And just in case you aren't aware, we are all dying, we are one day closer to paradise so fight the good fight for the victory is God's, You.

What is God saying to me: The battle is already won, My Son Jesus, true God and true man, figured it out with the help of My grace.  His heart is full and you know it.

Dear Father God, You paint great pictures, provide vivid memories and give us Your grace.  You gave us grace yesterday to accomplish the task, You pour grace into us today for the task.  I pray for those in the battle that do not see Your grace, may we be the light of Christ that they see the battle is already won if they would surrender and let You.  Prayers for a family that will celebrate the life of a saint, may he be seated at the table of plenty this morning as we gather.  Father Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Mary, Our Lady of Victory, pray fir us.
