Numbers Chapter 28 - Our Daily offering

"The LORD said to Moses: Give the Israelites this commandment: At their prescribed times, you will be careful to present to me the food offerings that are due me, oblations of pleasing aroma to me. Each Morning and Evening."  Numbers‬ ‭28:1-2‬ NABRE

Our daily offering - I see the purity of God's word, His intentions.  "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John‬ ‭1:1‬.  I also see Jesus at the altar saying: "Then he took the bread, said the blessing, broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body, which will be given for you; do this in memory of me.""
‭‭Luke‬ ‭22:19‬.  God's intention is our daily devotion to Him in our lives, to give of ourselves to Him in all that we do.  If you are a teacher, a doctor, a mechanic, a butcher, a home maker, a mother, a father, a husband, a wife, we are to offer this up to God, make it a pleasing aroma.  God operates over time so does the devil, always looking for ways to twist God's word.  He did this at the base of the mountain with the golden calf, he did this as they Pharisees condemned Jesus, He does this today with our busy lives.  It is in our daily offering to God that we are guided by God.

What is God saying to me: My will be done, the simplest form of worship is to offer self up each day as best as you can.  I see the challenges but I gave you My word so that it may be a guide as you follow My way.  Be blessed today, You are not alone on the journey.

Dear Lord God, I see the sacrifice of the mass in this chapter and I also see our sacrifice each day or lack of sacrifice.  May today be a pleasing offering to You as I go into my day.  I thank You Father for the quiet confidence You are instilling within.  I pray for guidance in making the right choices going forward, to not be thwarted by the devil and for the wisdom to see.  May each of us be a pleasing offering to You this day and may we be blessed by Your Holy Spirit as we do what we do.  In Jesus name, Amen
Mary, Mother of Love, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
