"Surely, the LORD, your God, has blessed you in all your undertakings; he has been concerned about your journey through this vast wilderness. It is now forty years that the LORD, your God, has been with you, and you have lacked nothing.Deuteronomy 2:7
In our wanderings, we have not been alone for God has been with you. When Jesus was baptized, He was driven into the desert, He too was in the vast wilderness. Our journey is His journey, there comes a point in one's life that there is an understanding what God's truth is. Even in the wilderness, you know of God and in your seeking you find Him, we all go through it, we must go through it for how do we know what truth is until we experience the false truth. Like Jesus and the Israelites that crossed the Jordan into the promised land and our own wilderness there comes a time: "This is the time of fulfillment. The kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel." Mark 1:15. You are never alone, God understands your journey and so do many many more. Believe in the Gospel and do as Jesus did, live your faith.
What is God saying to me:
Dear Father, the time is at hand, we all experience a wilderness, a time being away from You but You continually seek us out. You never stop chasing us down and showing us how relatable Your Son Jesus is. The happiness we seek is found in Jesus and His daily walk, help each of us see that. Prayers for those in the wilderness, may they hear Your voice and see Your Son and the temptations He faced and how He overcame them. Thank You for family and friends to love, thank You for accepting all of our sins so we may enter the promised land knowing You are God and greater than all. In Jesus name, amen.
