Numbers 33 - The Spiritual Journey

"Setting out from the Red Sea, they camped in the wilderness of Sin.

But if you do not dispossess the inhabitants of the land before you, those whom you allow to remain will become barbs in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land where you live," Numbers‬ ‭33:11, 55‬

Numbers 33 - The Spiritual Journey.  Knowing where one is at is the first step of a thousand miles.  Many stay camped in the wilderness of sin and do not know it.  It is a comfortable place until it isn't, until you figure out it doesn't satisfy.  Then the decision is made to move,  to remove sin that is causing pain and harassing you.  As we journey farther we recognize within ourselves how we still harbor inner thoughts and feelings that don't appear to be sin at the beginning of our journey but in fact are.  It is in working on removing these inner prejudices and allowing Jesus to do the house cleaning are we striving for the prize.  A little quiet reflection in the glow of God sheds light on our journey.  What is God saying to you?

What is God saying to me:  I have shown you areas that are in need of addressing, you see your ways and you also have the desire to remove them, I will help, continue on towards the prize, Heaven.

Dear Lord God, Your look penetrates my soul and shows me the deadly sins that are causing conflict in my life.  I thank You for shedding light into these areas.  You know my journey, You know all of it and I trust in You for guidance and help.  Make my movement between camps lighter as we go for I know at heavens door I will be empty other than the love of Christ in my heart.  Thank You for the life giving rain this morning, I pray for the rain that cleanses and puts out fires.  Prayers for a friend missing a loved one, may they be comforted with insight and vision.  I ask this in Jesus name, Amen.

Mary, The New Eve, pray for us.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
