Daily Thoughts - Daily Thoughts.

Daily Thoughts - Daily Thoughts.

For the forgiveness of sins . . .

1263 By Baptism all sins are forgiven, original sin and all personal sins, as well as all punishment for sin.66 In those who have been reborn nothing remains that would impede their entry into the Kingdom of God, neither Adam's sin, nor personal sin, nor the consequences of sin, the gravest of which is separation from God.

United, Judgement.  Did Jesus fear judgement?  No, He faced judgement with the understanding of who He was and knowing He was united with His Father in Heaven.  The first reading today speaks of judgement, of being held accountable to the teachings of God.  That can raise fear in anyone but let's not forget fear is not of God.

Jesus speaks of being united in the Gospel reading.  This is found within daily prayer, of having no separation from God.  As I ask God every morning to over shadow me throughout the day with the Holy Spirit.  I do not operate alone, I operate along side the One whose image I am made in.  We will face Justice but knowing the One who made you and living with Him, your heart is transformed.  I don't always get it right but I have the gift of one of the Sacraments, confessions.

We are living the scriptures, read them and look what is going on in the world.  Are we not facing judgement due to the choices we are making without God as a culture?  Be united with God.  "For he commands his angels with regard to you, to guard you wherever you go."  ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91‬:‭11‬.

Dear Father, it is a blessed morning pondering You and Your mission.  There is lots to think about but none that causes any fear for You are with me.  I thank You for another day to live out what You instill within.  You know me and I trust in You to continue the good works You have begone to see it through to its natural end.  Prayers for our world and those who walk alone without You by their side.  Prayers for the children they are raising.  May you use us to bring about the Kingdom within.  Love Your son.
