Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.
1259 For catechumens who die before their Baptism, their explicit desire to receive it, together with repentance for their sins, and charity, assures them the salvation that they were not able to receive through the sacrament.

Mercy. Can we avoid God? No. What ever our situation is in life God is always there with hand held out ready to help. Jonah ran from God yet he still had God's heart. He willingly gave of himself to save others and in turn God saved him.
The absence of God is evil, it isn't nothingness. The cold dark desolate place becomes unbearable and we begin to seek Him out. Listen for God's mercy, He awaits for His sons and daughters to return so He may care for them and give them what their hearts desire, love.
"For it is loyalty that I desire, not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings." Hosea 6:6. Actions without love are dead, Jesus sees the heart.
Dear Father God, I thank You for this time this morning. To sit with me and listen as well as speak. I am sorry for humanity and the evil that exists in this world. Please forgive us Lord and replace the coldness with Love, Love of neighbor. Prayers for all the strife that is going on within the world, may this darkness bring us home to You. Love Your son.
Mary, Queen of Peace, Pray for us.
St Joesph, Pray for us.
St Patrick, Pray for us.
Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
