Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

Faith and Baptism

1253 Baptism is the sacrament of faith.54 But faith needs the community of believers. It is only within the faith of the Church that each of the faithful can believe. The faith required for Baptism is not a perfect and mature faith, but a beginning that is called to develop. The catechumen or the godparent is asked: "What do you ask of God's Church?" The response is: "Faith!"

Lookup - Pray - Ask.  The mountain top view is the best, we all want this view, to have climbed the mountain and you are at your destination.  No more hardships, no more troubles just the joy of being.

Jesus speaks to the troubles we face due to our human thinking, thinking better of ourselves, trying to out do one another.  He conveys a message of simplicity, of accepting of one's situation and being thankful.  Children no not whether they are rich or are poor, think of your own child hood.  Stature was not of our concern, just peace and happiness.  We overcame our challenges and just lived in contentment.  For what we had was given by another.

Know that the simplest place to be is to gaze upon the Fathers face, as you pray today, know that you do not pray alone.  The one given guard over you is there as well.  Happy feast of our Guardian Angels.  ""See that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father." ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭10‬

Dear Father, You know our desires and You know our troubles, may we gaze upon Your face and become child like, knowing that all good things come from You and You are the Master of our lives.  You love us even till the point of death, may we love You in return even till the point of death.  Our real happiness comes from gazing upon You in prayer, may we take You into our day and experience the mountain top view in all circumstances.  Love Your son.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.  1 John 4:4b
