Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.
1256 The ordinary ministers of Baptism are the bishop and priest and, in the Latin Church, also the deacon.57 In case of necessity, anyone, even a non-baptized person, with the required intention, can baptize58 , by using the Trinitarian baptismal formula. The intention required is to will to do what the Church does when she baptizes. The Church finds the reason for this possibility in the universal saving will of God
Deliver us, O God. Are you fighting for God or against God? Sit back and watch the world, it is easy to see it fight against Truth but the real question is what about self? Jesus stands before His people in todays readings and speaks truth to them. They have witnessed miracles and have seen God in action in their lives. They have received healing yet they don't grow closer to God, they grow father away. Where is God in their lives? Obviously Jesus knows the answer and seeks to jar them awake to the reality of the situation.
"God has overlooked the times of ignorance, but now he demands that all people everywhere repent" Acts 17:30. Be at peace if God is at the center of your life. Be at peace if you are fighting for truth, not physically but the way you are living out your life. Jesus stood against the times, He did not adopt their way of thinking but rather sought to save souls. This is the fight we are in, listen as God seeks to deliver salvation.
Dear Father, we got up early today to sit and ponder, to listen to Your will in my life. I thank You Father for answered prayers, these are the miracles available to all who ask and trust. Thank You for the grace of peace as we go about our day. May my actions be pleasing to You and may I get out of the way. Love Your son.

Greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4b
