Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

IN BRIEF

2752 Prayer presupposes an effort, a fight against ourselves and the wiles of the Tempter. The battle of prayer is inseparable from the necessary "spiritual battle" to act habitually according to the Spirit of Christ: we pray as we live, because we live as we pray.

We can not have the life of Christ without prayer, they go hand in hand.  It is Christ within that leads us thru the perils, awakens our senses to the prowls of the devil.  Engages our conscience to steer us away from sin and back to Him.  Prayer is so much more than mere words, it builds up the body of Christ, it refreshes the soul and He teaches that He is the source of everlasting life.  Are we living the life that God wants and we want, if not then pray about it, He answers all prayer.

Our human nature without prayer leads us away from the Father, it seems like He is not there and we become distant.  The Israelites built a golden calf to satisfy their earthly desires.  God didn't provoke this, they accepted their fate and fell victim to the tempter.  We can see this happening in our world today, a world without God becomes more and more evil.   Prayer to God brings us back to right relationship, brings us back into covenant union with Him.  Listen to God within prayer, it is the life of Christ.

Dear Father, we begin another day listening to Your heart share the joys of everlasting life.  I am blessed to have this habit to turn to You.  In our relationship, You are never far, You are always there and You share the gifts and graces of Heaven.  Prayers for a friend seeking a golden calf, not realizing its destruction of their soul.  May You speak into the void and plant the seed of everlasting life thru daily prayer.  Love, Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

2751 Finally, in this prayer Jesus reveals and gives to us the "knowledge," inseparably one, of the Father and of the Son,51 which is the very mystery of the life of prayer.

"God said", this is the mystery of the life of prayer.  God the Son gives us His knowledge of a solid prayer life within His final hour.  He does not focus on the pain and suffering but continues on the mission of giving of Himself that we will come to a deeper understanding.  Prayer draws us into the mystery, it opens us up to what God is saying to us through the life that we have.  "We know that all things work for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose."  ‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬.

Jesus gives us His treasure, He buries it within us so we can seek what He gives.  The parables in todays Gospel reading is for each of us to sit and understand what God has given us.  An immense love that died on the cross so that we too may receive everlasting life.  His words convey the message that nothing comes easy, it requires effort on our part to gain the wisdom and knowledge of Heaven.  As the Son of God, He did not stroll into Heaven, He died to get there never forgetting His mission of giving of Himself all the way.  Scriptures reveals these truths as we pray with it, the words written are from the Father and the Son, both inseparable and we are the treasure, we are the pearls, we are good fish in the net.  Enter into the mystery of the life of prayer, God reveals Himself there and it leads us to Heaven.

Dear Father God, You are always speaking if we are listening.  I see You at work within the body of Christ as You pass along knowledge thru everyday events.  I thank You for the joys of life and the pains of life, both bring about transformation.  Prayers for a friend lost in the field, may You penetrate a hardened heart.  Bless this day Lord, send us much needed rain and may You be greater in all our circumstances.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2750 By entering into the holy name of the Lord Jesus we can accept, from within, the prayer he teaches us: "Our Father!" His priestly prayer fulfills, from within, the great petitions of the Lord's Prayer: concern for the Father's name;47passionate zeal for his kingdom (glory);48 the accomplishment of the will of the Father, of his plan of salvation;49 and deliverance from evil.50

"Rich soil".   "Our Father" begins the Lord's Prayer, it begins in us sitting with Him as He speaks.  It allows us to enter into covenant relationship as we seek out His will for our lives.  It is becoming obedient to what He desires for each of us.  These two words can be said so often that we can just babel them and not really comprehend their true meaning.  "Our Father", contains self, the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit, the Saints that have gone before us, and the body of Christ, and us traversing thru these Valley of Tears.  Rich soil is us recognizing Christ within that guides us along the path of life as we listen to the Father's voice.

In todays first reading our Father gave us the Ten Commandments.  "Then God spoke all these words: I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery."‭‭Exodus‬ ‭20‬:‭1‬-‭2‬.  These are rules for life, direction that allows us to get into Heaven.  God has rules and He is not to be mocked.  Our sinful nature will get in the way but with His help and our obedience God will accomplish His task within.  It is up to each of us to listen and respond.  The choices we make today will draw us closer to God or harden our hearts a little bit more(rocky soil) making His job a little more difficult but one that He died on the cross to accomplish.  So there is no shame in sin if we seek His repentance and firmly resolve to avoid sin and the near occasion of sin.  This is "Our Father", working with us.   The Sacrament of Confessions brings about grace in our lives, being Catholic is a blessing from our Father.

Dear Father, there is such a joy in sitting with You at the beginning of each day.  Life is much slower, richer and deeper when we begin together and it begins with "Our Father."   I thank You for what You are doing within hearts to help us see the tricks of the evil one.  Watch over this day, give us the insights to navigate what comes our way with love and grace.  Prayers for a friend seeking mercy, You have spoken may he respond with love.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2749 Jesus fulfilled the work of the Father completely; his prayer, like his sacrifice, extends until the end of time. The prayer of this hour fills the end-times and carries them toward their consummation. Jesus, the Son to whom the Father has given all things, has given himself wholly back to the Father, yet expresses himself with a sovereign freedom46 by virtue of the power the Father has given him over all flesh. The Son, who made himself Servant, is Lord, the Pantocrator. Our high priest who prays for us is also the one who prays in us and the God who hears our prayer

"For to me life is Christ, and death is gain."  Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭21‬.  Do you feel that way about life and death?  It is an understanding that life has a definite purpose once you have come to understand who created you and you have faith that He is leading you.  In Jesus's final hour, He brings it all together, what was already written in His holy word and what was yet to be written on paper.  His final word of "It is finished.", is the finality of what is to be accomplished.

Who speaks within you?  Is it life or is it not life?  God came to the top of Mount Sinai on the third day, His glorious day.  He spoke to Moses and he understood.  "The Lord said to Moses: I am coming to you now in a dense cloud, so that when the people hear me speaking with you,". ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭19‬:‭9‬ab. God wrote this on the heart of Moses, God enabled Moses to understand, it was God within.

Jesus speaks of this relationship within todays Gospel.  "Isaiah's prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: 'You shall indeed hear but not understand, you shall indeed look but never see. Gross is the heart of this people, they will hardly hear with their ears, they have closed their eyes, lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and be converted, and I heal them.' ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭14‬-‭15‬.  Moses let God in, the disciples let God in, it is God within that reveals Truth to you, it is He who speaks to your heart.  It is He who opens up the mysteries of Heaven and it begins in prayer, being willing to die to self so He may live within you.

Dear Lord God, it is a glorious morning, reading and seeing, knowing and feeling the Love of Your Son within.  Life without You is difficult, it sends us into tailspins not knowing what tomorrow will bring, fighting against the world, life with You is Christ and death of the world is gain for tomorrow is already written upon Your heart which resides within.  Love Your Son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2748 In this Paschal and sacrificial prayer, everything is recapitulated in Christ:45God and the world; the Word and the flesh; eternal life and time; the love that hands itself over and the sin that betrays it; the disciples present and those who will believe in him by their word; humiliation and glory. It is the prayer of unity.

45 Eph 1:10"as a plan for the fullness of times, to sum up all things in Christ, in heaven and on earth." ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬

The final hour prayer of a dying man, John 17.  The One sent to offer Himself up in our place, His sacrificial offering.   And we get to read His prayer, the prayer of the Son of Man, the one who walked in our shoes, who faced the world filled with sin and accepted our sin so we could be united with our Triune God.  The catechism of the Catholic Church sums it up very well in 2748.  It is a prayer of unity, to bring all things together that freely chooses to follow.  That is the prayer of a man who is the way.  Do we listen to His heart within the Church, the one He founded?

Moses in todays first reading is a man after God's own heart, he knows the way for he listens to God and responds.  Even though he is surrounded by the trickery of the world and the deception of sin.  Satisfaction isn't found in the world, it is found by following God, by receiving what God gives.  Sometimes the medicine doesn't taste good but it is there for our benefit.  Prayer is the answer to our salvation, our love language with God.  Without prayer, we are throwing caution to the wind, then the mishaps of the day interfere with God's plan and that's when division sets in which isn't of God.

Dear Father, I thank You for what You give each day in an active prayer life.  It doesn't end with the sign of the cross each morning, it truly only begins for in this moment we are together.  A respite before the day becomes one where we are called to go into prepared.  Thank you for the gift of rain, the kind that drives roots deep within fertile soil.  Bless this day, may we accomplish what is intended for today.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2747 Christian Tradition rightly calls this prayer the "priestly" prayer of Jesus. It is the prayer of our high priest, inseparable from his sacrifice, from his passing over (Passover) to the Father to whom he is wholly "consecrated."44

"Keep still", speaks into my spirit this morning, words from yesterdays first reading.  As I contemplate Jesus's final hour, how many deaths must a man face before it is his last hour?  As a man, how many deaths did He face?  How about when He was asked to do something and He was tired, what did he do?  Or He had laid out His day and then His day got changed.  Did He go about his will or the will of the Father?  Is the Passover a moment in time or is it an opportunity each day to give it over to God?  "Just so, the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many."  ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭28‬

What role does the life of Christ play in your world?  Is it a fleeting moment each Sunday to make oneself feel good that the obligation has been fulfilled?  I go back to "keep still" with todays Gospel reading.  It is the feast of James, the first Apostle to be martyred.   His mother wanted a place of honor for her sons and her ego sought this from Jesus, something He couldn't give.  He gave something better, His life for theirs.

James faced his final hour after having to die to self and then willing accepting the Fathers will for the Glory of God was martyred.  His brother John faced his final hour after many small deaths along the way.   How did this one moment in time change the path of these two men.  How did John's quiet time when he was still be impacted by what God spoke into his spirit thru time.  Our depth of love comes from knowing God and what He is doing in you.  Listen to John as he speaks of his love for God as he writes about Jesus's final hour in John 17.  "And I consecrate myself for them, so that they also may be consecrated in truth."  John‬ ‭17‬:‭19‬

God speaks to us in the same way, if we like the apostles will die to self and just keep still so God can speak.  Have a blessed day, God has already seen the outcome and He said all will be well, please do My will.

Dear Father, thank You for the gift of time and for Your depth of love that speaks to a heart that seeks You.  I am thankful for what You are doing and for what You are bringing about.  May I, like Your disciples, listen with the heart and not allow the distractions of the world interfere with Your divine will.  Prayers for a friend undergoing some test, bless the outcome with Your grace.  Bless this day, use me as You will for Your glory.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God known.

THE PRAYER OF THE HOUR OF JESUS

2746 When "his hour" came, Jesus prayed to the Father.43 His prayer, the longest transmitted by the Gospel, embraces the whole economy of creation and salvation, as well as his death and Resurrection. The prayer of the Hour of Jesus always remains his own, just as his Passover "once for all" remains ever present in the liturgy of his Church.

43 Cf. Jn 17

God's timing is always perfect even when the future seems unknown.   The real question becomes do you trust Him?  In Jesus's final hour, He knew the outcome, He knew this was the path and His objective is us.  His life was lived for this purpose, to glorify the Father in Heaven and to teach us that no matter the circumstance God will see you through it if we are willing to follow Him.

In the first reading today Moses was up against insurmountable odds, sure death in front of him and the Egyptians pressing in from behind.  Moses trusted that God would not abandon him to die in the desert.   "But Moses answered the people, "Do not fear! Stand your ground and see the victory the Lord will win for you today. For these Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you have only to keep still."  ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬-‭14‬

That's what prayer will produce within, not a hardened obstinate heart but one that honors and glorifies Him.  Each day brings about situations and in these situations God has already moved through them, He asks us to follow.  How else does one face death other than facing circumstances each day  beyond our control and learning to trust God.  Mary Magdalene doesn't call Jesus Rabbouni for nothing.  "Jesus said to her, "Mary!" She turned and said to him in Hebrew, "Rabbouni," which means Teacher."  ‭‭John‬ ‭20‬:‭16‬

Dear Father God, You are the Great Teacher.  I love how You are always leading the way within our prayer life.  I sit and listen as You make a way where there seems to be no way.   Thank You Father for the time this morning to be still and listen to Your Holy Spirit.  Prayers for those facing insurmountable odds, may You speak to their hearts and may they see the glory that awaits Your Divine will.   Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2745 Prayer and Christian life are inseparable, for they concern the same love and the same renunciation, proceeding from love; the same filial and loving conformity with the Father's plan of love; the same transforming union in the Holy Spirit who conforms us more and more to Christ Jesus; the same love for all men, the love with which Jesus has loved us. "Whatever you ask the Father in my name, he [will] give it to you. This I command you, to love one another."41

Prayer and Christian life are inseparable.  fact of faith about prayer #3.  Can I be a well formed Christian without a prayer life?  At the center of a healthy prayer life is love.  We seek what we love and the grace of God can not be out given.  So the more we seek the love of God in prayer the more He reveals Himself to us that continually unites us with His spirit.  Look at your prayer life, this will be an indicator of where you are at.

Prayer is a battle as we have learned and are learning.  The evil one seeks to separate us from the love of God.  He plants the weeds in front of us to slow us down, to distract us with the goal of separation from God.  God on the other hand stands there with open arms revealing Himself in simple ways that draws us into a committed relationship.  We demonstrate this with our trust in Him.  The groaning of our spirit is God at work, our unsettled nature not being satisfied is the spirit revealing what is true and satisfying and what is not.  The grain the Father gives us is His love, the bread of life is the food that refreshes the soul.

Listen to God within prayer and allow Him to produce fertile ground within for the Gospel to take root.  Have a blessed day living out God's will for your life.  It is found within prayer.  Listen to Him.

Dear Father, I have enjoyed the teachings of the Church on prayer.  It has helped me understand me and the things(weeds) that have been distracting.  Thank You for the gift of desire, the desire to continually to grow in our relationship.  May we each recognize the groaning of Your Holy Spirit within and may You continue to guide the Love of Christ within.  Prayers for rain, to soften the ground and prepare the harvest of plenty.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known.

2744 Prayer is a vital necessity. Proof from the contrary is no less convincing: if we do not allow the Spirit to lead us, we fall back into the slavery of sin.38 How can the Holy Spirit be our life if our heart is far from him?

Nothing is equal to prayer; for what is impossible it makes possible, what is difficult, easy. . . . For it is impossible, utterly impossible, for the man who prays eagerly and invokes God ceaselessly ever to sin.39

Those who pray are certainly saved; those who do not pray are certainly damned.40

Prayer is a Vital necessity - fact of faith about prayer #2.  Do you listen to the pining of your heart?  What does your heart and spirit seek that brings satisfaction.  As we recognize our own longings, we will come to know that if our longings are for things of this world we will not be satisfied.  Only when we seek God thru a loving and caring relationship within prayer will we come to be satisfied.  "Those who pray are certainly saved; those who do not pray are certainly damned."

In todays Gospel reading, Mary Magdalene is seeking the Lord, her heart and soul pines for Him.  Even when He stood in her midst she didn't recognize Him.  Then Jesus tells her to go; "Stop holding on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father.  But go to my brothers and tell them, 'I am going to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.'"  The beginning of the next chapter of spreading the good news.  Do we recognize God within the heart of another or are we so focused on self that we miss seeing the risen Lord?

Dear Father, I am Yours and You are mine.  This has been an interesting week with lots of opportunities to recognize You and the lack of You within.  I thank You for the grace to always seek You and to see You.  Prayers for the longing of our hearts to be filled by You within a fervent prayer life no matter what we are doing.  Thank You for the gift of prayer and making it a vital part of our day, may we bring it to others that have yet to know Your Risen Spirit.  Love Your Son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2743 It is always possible to pray: The time of the Christian is that of the risen Christ who is with us always, no matter what tempests may arise.36 Our time is in the hands of God:

It is possible to offer fervent prayer even while walking in public or strolling alone, or seated in your shop, . . . while buying or selling, . . . or even while cooking.37

It is always possible to pray - fact of faith about prayer #1.  You notice how prayer changes your attitude and it invites God into the situation.  He is always there ready to engage in our lives, we enable Him to act on our behalf when we pray.  Spend the entire day with God and watch how your world will be transformed.  Engage in the beauty of the world around you as you take notice of the gift of life.  Be conscious of the gift of prayer and be thankful even in the moments that are not pleasant.  Even these become occasions for prayer and an opportunity to practice a virtue as you receive the grace of God.

The Israelites engaged in fervent prayer as they prepared the Passover meal.  It did contain actual prayers, along with actions that brought the blessing of God upon them.  It all works together when we take on the body of Christ in all that we do.  It isn't a ritualistic action that produces the result, it is the love of God within that brings about the Kingdom.  Our gospel message is being proclaimed ever waking moment of our lives, what is it saying about God or is it proclaiming little g god? (self)

Dear Lord God Almighty, You have been speaking these last several days in normal everyday circumstances.  I see the joys of life and the sufferings as the body of Christ goes about its day.  May we never neglect to offer up the gift of life that You give us and to be thankful in all situations as we engage together in the life that we create together.  It is the best of the best when "I" get out of the way.  Thank You for the gift of mercy when "I" don't.  Prayers for live giving rain and a world that recognizes the dignity of Your creation.  Love Your son.

IV. PERSERVERING IN LOVE

2742 "Pray constantly . . . always and for everything giving thanks in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God the Father."33 St. Paul adds, "Pray at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance making supplication for all the saints."34 For "we have not been commanded to work, to keep watch and to fast constantly, but it has been laid down that we are to pray without ceasing."35 This tireless fervor can come only from love. Against our dullness and laziness, the battle of prayer is that of humble, trusting, and persevering love. This love opens our hearts to three enlightening and life-giving facts of faith about prayer.

"God said".   Do you pray without ceasing?  Are you always in the presence of God?  Yes God is always present and knowing this leads us to the understanding of always being in His presence.  Therefore we become I pleasing offering to Him over time as we learn to pray without ceasing and being thankful in all situations.  Not an easy task, I might add.  I AM within makes it an easier journey for if God is not present in you then the void of God is filled with not of God.

God said go, that was His message to Moses at the burning bush.  Go into the Lions den and I AM will be with you.  You will have success, the outcome will be accomplished but not without trials, tribulations and set backs.  God said not to worry, trust and go.  Was Moses doing the will of God?  Was he a pleasing offering in the sight of God, proclaiming the Word of God?  Is that not praying without ceasing and bringing about the desires of God's heart to bring the Israelites out of Egypt.  Are you engaged in the Lions den surrounded by the armor of prayer?  It is a battle.  God said Go.

We will explore the three enlightening and life giving facts of faith about prayer over the next three days.

Dear I AM, You see the battle before I do, You see the chings in the armor and I see lives without praying ceasingly.  I realize the battle belongs to You.  Forgive me for my rashness, continue to strengthen the armor thru reading the lives of the saints.  Prayers for the ones in the battle and know it, fortify their walls with Your glory.  May we be a pleasing offering this day doing Your will.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God known.

Daily Thoughts - Make God known.

2741 Jesus also prays for us - in our place and on our behalf. All our petitions were gathered up, once for all, in his cry on the Cross and, in his Resurrection, heard by the Father. This is why he never ceases to intercede for us with the Father.32 If our prayer is resolutely united with that of Jesus, in trust and boldness as children, we obtain all that we ask in his name, even more than any particular thing: the Holy Spirit himself, who contains all gifts.

The heart of God.  Have you looked into the heart of God?  What is it that He seeks the most?  Union with you.   Jesus as Son of Man has union with God the Father, He showed us that.  His mission was that of the Father to show us the way home.  Ever since we have been separated God has stopped at nothing to bring each of us back home, to be united with Him again.  Jesus as Son of Man was united this side of death so He demonstrates it is possible even for you.  "For Christ did not enter into a sanctuary made by hands, a copy of the true one, but heaven itself, that he might now appear before God on our behalf."‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭9‬:‭24‬

Moses felt this tug on his heart, the one that God gave him but he had to experience life, you could say it is part of our flawed sinful nature.  God called Him to Himself and gave him the choice to choose when He appeared in the burning bush.  Their hearts were one and the same, I can only imagine the thoughts Moses was having in his time of solitude knowing his people were in servitude.  Is that not the same heart of God.  What is your burning bush where you are being united with God?  Will you say "here I am" when God speaks.

He prepares you before He speaks, it is part of the journey home.

Dear Father, it is a beautiful morning listening to the beat of Your heart.  Prayer goes beyond the words and sees thru time.  Thank You for the gift of this day, the pleasing offering of what it will produce within.  May I recognize the burning bush and respond, knowing that it is You that will accomplish the task with my willing hands.  Prayers for a friend who lost his father yesterday, may he be surrounded by Your loving care and may Perpetual Light be shinning upon his father.  Love Your son.

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

Daily Thoughts - Make God Known

2740 The prayer of Jesus makes Christian prayer an efficacious petition. He is its model, he prays in us and with us. Since the heart of the Son seeks only what pleases the Father, how could the prayer of the children of adoption be centered on the gifts rather than the Giver?

The gift or the Giver?  Which do you seek?  Knowing your answer will indicate where you are at within the body of Christ.  Is it a surface love that seeks without knowing or is it a deep rooted love that has experienced the love of God over and over again.  Our prayer reflects our relationship with God the Father, it shows us who we place our trust in.  No matter where "I" am at in my prayer life, God always has our best interest at heart.  He knows what type of rain the soil needs to develop the deep rooted love He has for us within our own souls.

The story of God's love for us is repeated again and again so we recognize our own misgivings and come to realize that the Father will never stop until we are firmly planted within His Holy Family.  Then we adopt His mission of becoming the flesh and blood of Jesus within our world.  It is written within scripture.

Moses was rescued from sure death by the wife of the Pharaoh.  His real mother knew the love of God and trusted that God would find away.  Was it the story of Joesph that enflamed her heart that made her realize that no harm would come to her child in the River Nile?  As we read scripture and see the person, our own lives are revealed.  Not some far off place but our very own family that trusted God the Giver not the gift of God.

Dear Lord God, I see a sister loving You, willing to sacrifice her son knowing that You would not abandon her prayer.  Her depth of love goes beyond the pangs of a mothers love.  Within this example is Mary, willing to give up her Son to ransom all.  I thank You Father for the history lesson this morning, for the peace that comes from You when all does not fit into place.  Prayers for a friend wandering in the desert, feeling abandoned, may he come to know Your love for him.  Bless this day and all it has to offer.   Love Your son.

2739 For St. Paul, this trust is bold, founded on the prayer of the Spirit in us and on the faithful love of the Father who has given us his only Son.31 Transformation of the praying heart is the first response to our petition.

Do we love God on our terms, our direction and our guidance of what we seek or do we love God on His terms, His direction and His guidance.   Within the space of time God reveals Himself within prayer and He reveals others who have taken up their cross and became obedient to the cross.  Our culture would have us believe the journey is easy and without difficulty but in fact the opposite is true.  It requires effort, diligence and an obedient heart to follow Christ.   Within everyday life is the keys to Heaven and an obedient heart to the Father of Heaven.

The Israelites went from having it easy to having their world transformed becoming slaves to Pharaoh.  Would this change their hearts to become bitter and unloving or would this transform them into the image and likeness of Jesus.  Our faith journey is much like them, understand that God will form you with Your life, trust in where He takes You.  The outcome leads to victory that knows no bounds nor will never end.

Dear Father, we sit and listen to the still of the morning along with the teachings of the Church.  We have been given much and to whom much is given much is expected.  Transform this heart of mine to be more like Yours, help us to slow down and listen.  Prayers for a fruitful day that produces the fruit You are nurturing within.  Love Your son.
