Daily Thoughts - Make God Known. 

2736 Are we convinced that "we do not know how to pray as we ought"?²³Are we asking God for "what is good for us"? Our Father knows what we need before we ask him,²⁴ but he awaits our petition because the dignity of his children lies in their freedom. We must pray, then, with his Spirit of freedom, to be able truly to know what he wants.²⁵

He makes a way.  We can over complicate prayer in seeking out our will for our lives.  Our lives truly belong to God, He is our Father.  "Which one of you would hand his son a stone when he asks for a loaf of bread,". ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭9‬

Silence in the presence of God is prayer, listening to the promptings on His Holy Spirit.  Prayer is more about God revealing Himself to us than us revealing ourselves to Him.  He already knows us, our wants and our desires.  Yet He waits for us to come and just be.  

Joesph spent a lifetime listening to God, his relationship was real.  He was able to discern the heart of God to serve His people and in return Joesph was reunited with his earthly father.  The famine was the catalysts that brought his family back together.   Unity is what God wants, to be united with Him and united with His Church.  Listen in silence, when the heart is at peace, God is speaking.  

Dear Father God, You always make a way within our lives.  We can walk away and turn our back upon You and Your Church, You still wait as we are purified of all that ails us.  The silence You provide is a gift that brings about peace.  Thank You Father for another day to sit in the silence of the morning.  Bless this day with Your will in our lives.  Love Your son.
