Daily Thoughts - into the deep.

""Come, let us return to the Lord, For it is he who has torn, but he will heal us; he has struck down, but he will bind our wounds. He will revive us after two days; on the third day he will raise us up, to live in his presence. Let us know, let us strive to know the Lord; as certain as the dawn is his coming. He will come to us like the rain, like spring rain that waters the earth."" Hosea 6:1-3
The pain of Christ in the agony of the garden. We are half way through lent and it is the suffering of Christ as He watches His people being torn away from God the Father. "My people are ruined for lack of knowledge! Since you have rejected knowledge, I will reject you from serving as my priest; Since you have forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children." Hosea 4:6
Yet within His words of Hosea 6 He gives us hope, He gives us hope of the resurrection. The voice of God calls into the deep, into the depths of sin with love, that if we return to Him, He will provide the deepest love that heals. His agony in the garden is being experienced these days by us. The pain of sin separates us from God, yet there He is in love praying for us to return.
Time in prayer reveals the Fathers voice and what He has for you. It is a personal message and each are different for each of us. Look to the resurrection with the understanding of how much God loves You!
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy Kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven, give us this day our daily bread. Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, Amen.
