Daily Thoughts - into the deep.

"So Jesus cried out in the temple area as he was teaching and said, "You know me and also know where I am from. Yet I did not come on my own, but the one who sent me, whom you do not know, is true. I know him, because I am from him, and he sent me."" John 7:28-29
Jesus cries out in anguish. Have you or are you experiencing the pains of Christ? He has but one mission to get you to Heaven. He speaks openly and with conviction, His words and actions speak of God. And yet the crowd still questions who He is. "If you know me, then you will also know my Father. From now on you do know him and have seen him." John 14:7
Yes He got tortured and nailed to the cross but the suffering of God for being rejected is much greater than the physical pain. How many today do not believe He is the Messiah and yet our Triune God still speaks the truth, seeking the lost. I pray your Lenten journey is fruitful, it is eye opening, to see the lengths that God goes to save one soul. That's how much God loves you, have a blessed day knowing the Son of Man will endure what ever pain to bring you home to the Father.
Dear Father, I thank You for the fire burning within, the desire to know You more and more each day. I thank You for the gift of friendships and Your deep abiding love for each of Your children. Watch over us today, speak what we need to hear so another soul can come home to You. Prayers for a group of men experiencing the love of Christ, some for the first time this weekend. In Jesus name, Amen.
